Buyers, sellers holding off on asset sales


THE value of global upstream oil and gas deals tumbled to $US7.1 billion ($A9.3 billion) during the first quarter of 2015, a precipitous plunge of almost 80% over the same time in 2014 and a drop of 85% compared to the average value per quarter since the start of 2009, according to figures compiled by London’s Evaluate Energy.
